Windows Eventlog Monitor
Monitoring Microsoft Windows™ Eventlogs for:
- Information,
- Warning,
- Errors
- and other entries.
On computers which run under MS Windows™ different kinds of events are journalized in the Event Log.
The manual control of the content is too time-consuming and unreliable. The automatic control and the automatic notification in a standardized way are important factors for optimizing administration costs in a PC (server) environment.
Impulsus isymon®: the software solution for the efficient and inexpensive monitoring of your Event-Logs.
Standard settings are predefined
All Impulsus isymon® editions are provided with an “isymon standard“ configuration which includes predefined standard settings for the Eventlog Monitor. This minimizes the configuration efforts in standard environments.
Category determination via remote access
Impulsus isymon® has access to the monitored computers and can retrieve a list of the event-log categories which are available there. This way it can be ensured that only expedient entries will be defined.
Checking rules
Event-Logs can either be checked globally or in a very detailed selection using various criteria can take place. A global check, for instance, would report any entries of the “Error” type in the “Application“ Event-Log. A detailed check can furthermore include information such as „Source“, „Event“, „Description“, „Data“ or „Computer“.
